Aerial surveillance footage has captured the aftermath of the explosion at the Artillery Warehouse in West Java, Indonesia.
The explosion remains vivid and intense. The ammunition warehouse fire itself began around 18:30 local time or two hours earlier.
About 200 meters from the ammunition warehouse, a smell similar to burning firecrackers can be detected, although not exactly the same.
The exact location of the Munitions Depot (Gudmurah) is in Kampung Parung Pinang, RT 01/RW 11, Ciangsana Village, Bogor Regency. The local military, police, firefighters, and community officials are currently evacuating residents away from the burning ammunition warehouse.
As a result of the explosion that rocked the Armed Ammunition Warehouse, bordering Gunung Putri Bogor and Bekasi, West Java, some residents living in Kota Wisata Housing Complex have been advised to evacuate temporarily.
