This is the uplifting moment a crow parted to allow an ambulance through during a religious festival in India.

Thousands of worshippers had gathered for Rang Panchami event, which sees brightly coloured powder and water hurled at each other, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday, March 30.


The emergency vehicle appeared to be held up by the throngs of devotees but almost by a miracle, they separated and formed a path through, ensuring that a patient could reach the hospital without delay.

Onlookers said that despite the large number of people in attendance and the deafening noise, many heard the ambulance's siren and promptly cleared a path for it to navigate through the festival crowd.

Local media reported that security staff played a crucial role in assisting the ambulance in maneuvering through the crowd.
