Tidal tree reveals after fading of the Qiantang river in China
In eastern China, a drone captured a breathtaking giant “tree” that appeared on the river bed.
The video was filmed on February 26 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China.
The soft geological composition and high sand content of the Qiantang River banks render them vulnerable to erosion by the river's currents. Influenced by the ebb and flow of tides, these waters carve deep channels into the tidal flats, evoking an image akin to the branches of a grand earthly tree.
