On March 28th, a video captured by a passenger revealed a chaotic scene inside an aircraft as severe turbulence caused items to scatter across the aisle. The floor of the airplane cabin was strewn with paper cups, while beverage bottles of cola, Sprite, and juice cartons were among the items that had fallen to the ground near passengers' seats.

During the flight of Air China Inner Mongolia Company CA8122 (Shanghai Pudong to Hohhot), turbulence was encountered. The flight crew and cabin crew handled the situation according to procedures, and the flight landed safely at 10:49 p.m. For any discomfort experienced by passengers due to the turbulence, Air China later expressed apologies. One passenger described the ordeal as a chaotic aftermath following a terrifying 90 seconds at 9:10 p.m., during which they felt their heart was about to leap out of their throat, but thankfully, the aircraft landed safely at 10:50 p.m.
