A car reversed through a parking barrier and hung precariously over the edge of a building in Thailand.

The parked white vehicle was reportedly struck by another driver, causing it to crash through the concrete barrier of the hospital car park in Lampang province on February 21.

No one was injured as chunks of stone plunged from the seventh-floor parking area and smashed onto the sidewalk.

Authorities have temporarily secured the damaged barrier - seen in photos leaning over the carpark's edge - using rope.

Meanwhile, the driver allegedly responsible for the crash blamed the accident on a jammed accelerator.

Police said three vehicles were damaged, and the parties involved were now discussing compensation.
