A Thai vendor prepared colourful sticky rice 'sandwiches' with durian and jackfruit slices as buns.

Footage shows the worker preparing the traditional dessert, which is made with glutinous rice, coconut milk, sugar, and fruits, at the Cho Sornkaew shop in Bangkok, Thailand.

But instead of plain white rice, the shop dyes the grains in pretty rainbow hues to add a pop of colour to the delicious treat.

Cho Sornkaew has been open since 1977, and is a popular dessert shop located along the capital's Chok Chai 4 road.

Customers can choose to have their sticky rice with succulent mangoes, or custardy and pungent jackfruit or durian.
