Israeli troops have withdrawn from the al-Shifa hospital after a two-week raid left the complex in ruins.

Footage from April 1 shows locals inspecting the damaged facilities.

Dr. Mohamed Abdel Qader told local media: "In the beginning, the patients were in all the reception even before the war they were on the first floor and the fourth floor.

"After that, one of the soldiers was communicating with one of the medical staff, the soldiers commanded to drop all patients on the ground floor, so we did.

"We dropped all the patients without their caregivers from the fourth and first floor to the ground floor, and it was very difficult for the medical staff.

"While we were dropping them, they were exposed to the laser by the soldiers, the soldiers were in the kidney building.

"They took some of the patients and returned some of them to Al-Ameer Nayef's building where we were, in the first three days we didn't have food or water.

"We got out of the building to take our personal things but they didn't agree to.

"in Al-Ameer Nayef's building, there were nearly 120 patients, nine of them were killed, they were martyred because of the unavailability of medicines."
