Terrifying footage emerges as mother flees with children during Taiwan earthquake
On April 3rd at 7:58 a.m., a 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Hualien County, Taiwan, with a depth of 12 kilometers. Home surveillance cameras captured the moment of the earthquake, showing houses swaying as a mother rushed out with her two children to safety. Ms. Julie, the eyewitness, described that when the earthquake occurred, being residents on the third floor, she instinctively opened the door to escape with her two children. Due to the intense shaking, she could barely stand and even fell at one point. The shaking stopped only when they reached the ground floor, but the children were visibly shaken, trembling with fear.
The video was provided with permission from local media.
