On April 3rd at 7:58 a.m., a 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Hualien County in Taiwan (latitude 23.81 degrees north, longitude 121.74 degrees east), with a depth of 12 kilometers. Reports indicated that Taipei City experienced the maximum intensity of level 5. Footage captured by local residents showed the rooftop swimming pool of the mansion owned by Foxconn founder Terry Gou instantly turning into a waterfall, a sight that was quite astonishing.
