Massive landslides occurs during powerful Taiwan earthquake
An earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale hit Taiwan's Hualien region at 7:58 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, causing a massive landslide and a cloud of dust in the mountainous region near the epicenter.
According to Taiwan media reports, Taiwan fire department statistics, as of 4:30 p.m., the earthquake has caused 9 deaths, 821 injuries, 127 people trapped, the death and trapped to rescue events occurred in Hualien.
