The 2024 Chinese Government Training Programs Inauguration Ceremony was held at the Chinese embassy in Bangladesh on Wednesday.
The event drew more than 140 people.
Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen said the number of training programs and personnel provided by the Chinese government to Bangladesh this year has reached a new high, with the total number of trainees exceeding 500.
Md Anwar Hossain, additional secretary and wing chief of the Bangladeshi government's Economic Relations Division under the Ministry of Finance, thanked China for its help in promoting Bangladesh's economic and social development, and expressed willingness to work with China to promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning between the two countries and bring the level of bilateral cooperation to a new height.
