STORYLINE:
Tkiyet Um Ali, a Jordanian non-governmental organization supporting Jordanians who need help, has launched a campaign titled "Your Zakat (donation) reaches Jordan and Gaza" during the holy month of Ramadan to provide support to families in Gaza and Jordan.
During Ramadan, the organization has provided 5,000 free meals to the fasting people in various governorates of Jordan.
Free Ramadan food parcels that contain ready-to-eat foodstuff have also been delivered to people in Gaza.

"Since October (last year), we have launched a campaign with the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO) to collect donations, prepare food parcels, and send them in coordination with the JHCO and the army. We have delivered about 20,000 parcels, which I think is an excellent number."
