Israel says to reopen northern Gaza border crossing of Erez

Storyline:
The office of the Israeli prime minister said on Friday that Israel will reopen the Erez crossing, a key crossing in the northern Gaza Strip, to improve the humanitarian situation, according to The Times of Israel on the same day.
Before the current round of Palestinian-Israeli conflict broke out, only two border crossings, Erez and Kerem Shalom, connected Israel and the Gaza Strip. Both crossings were closed during the conflict by Israel.
Israel reopened Kerem Shalom in December last year for aid supplies.
