Storyline:
Speaker of the People's Assembly of Syria Hammouda Sabbagh on Thursday condemned the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate building in the Syrian capital Damascus on Monday.

The Syrian Parliament speaker made the condemnation while visiting the Iranian embassy and expressed his condolences along with other Syrian senior officials over the victims who died in the attack.

In addition, artists from several Arab countries showed outside the embassy and brought their artworks at the debris which were originally created to support Palestinians, but after Monday's attack, they hoped to use their works as a tribute to the victims of the attack.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights war monitor said Tuesday that the death toll from the attack had risen to 14, including eight Iranians, five Syrians and one member of Lebanon's Hezbollah militant group, noting that the death toll is likely to rise due to serious injuries.

At present, the clearance of debris of the damaged building has been underway and is expected to be finished on Friday.
