Customers fled moments before a Taiwan cafe flattened in a 7.3-magnitude earthquake.

The terrifying dashcam video was filmed in Hualien County in Taiwan on April 3.

A 30-year-old building, housing the "Happy Moments" breakfast cafe on the ground floor, was severely tilted by the force of the quake.

As terror gripped the customers inside, the cafe's owner led a desperate dash for safety, guiding 17 people out of the building.

Just two seconds after the last person stumbled out, the structure collapsed, instantly flattening the cafe and turning the second floor into the first. Debris from windows and doors scattered across the street.

Fortunately, no one inside the "Happy Moments" cafe was injured in the collapse.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
