In a remarkable turn of events, Officer Ryan Turner of the Irving Police Department in Texas found himself in the midst of an unusual double rescue mission on April 1st. Responding to reports of a loose goat along Highway 183, Turner embarked on what would be an eventful pursuit.

Initially skeptical, the department shared on Facebook, "We thought we were getting pranked, but this is no #AprilFools joke." The situation escalated quickly as Turner, undeterred, attempted to coax the goat with Burger King fries before eventually cornering it in a nearby shopping center parking lot.

Just as the dust settled from the goat capture, Turner received another call—this time regarding a wayward peacock meandering through a neighborhood. Within a mere 15 minutes, Turner successfully apprehended the colorful fugitive, confirming it to be an escaped pet.
