An unsuspecting Blackpool man was the subject of a towering leap year proposal today – and he said yes.
Louise Forder, who works for Blackpool Tower operator Merlin Entertainments, popped the question to her partner of 14 years Robert Green at the top of the attraction.
For the big day, Louise asked friends to write ‘Marry me?’ in the sand on the beach, whilst she tricked Robert into going up the Tower to get the perfect view of her message.
She asked him to help her set up a marriage proposal for another couple, before getting down on bended knee and popping the question to her partner of 14 years.
