Hikers Stranded Safely Retrieved in Val Montanaia, Pordenone, Italy

In a concerted effort by the fire department and Alpine Rescue operators, two stranded hikers were successfully reached and rescued at an altitude of 2,000 meters in Val Montanaia last night.
Having traversed a challenging terrain with an elevation gain of over 900 meters, the hikers were located and safely escorted to the Perugini bivouac, where they awaited extraction by the regional emergency helicopter service, which took place this morning.
