"The story started back in 2009 when I first visited Hainan. And I've been studying here for two years Chinese language and four years my bachelor's degree in Hainan University. I lived here and I enjoyed the life in Hainan and I personally think that Hainan is my second hometown.
In 2018, I read and understood from the news about China promoting the establishment and construction of the free trade port in Hainan. I really wanted to come back.
And I really wanted to come back at that time to Hainan to work and to join this construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port and contribute my own professional skills."

"And in 2019, through my friends, I understood that the Hainan provincial government had established the Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development (Hainan IEDB). So, I've been very interested and attracted to this organization. 
And I think that this organization is having a very important role in building the Hainan Free Trade Port, because really, like companies coming from overseas, they need assistance from the government.
We provide assistance and services to the companies that are coming here, to provide better investment proposals and to give the best solutions to make them benefit, to open or start their successful business in Hainan."

"I think Hainan has a massive attraction to foreign companies and also for foreign talents. Hainan itself as well is I think the focal point or maybe the connecting point of China to Southeast Asia and Southeast Asian countries. We are also the gateway of China to the Indian and Pacific Oceans, so the location is ideal here. Plus with the establishment or with the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port by China, Hainan has its own unique policies in terms of zero tariffs, low tax rates, plus a lot more liberalization and convenience in terms of trade, investment, cross-border capital, people's flow. Those bring massive opportunities for not only the companies that are coming to build a business here but also for a lot of talents. So I believe Hainan has its own unique characteristics and is the best location to live here, to work here and to invest here. 
China's doors are opening even wider. And Hainan is also a very great, successful example of that. To promote the Hainan Free Trade Port itself to overseas, let more foreign companies and more foreign talents understand Hainan itself, is a very big responsibility for me.
It's a very great opportunity to be the participant of the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port."
