US videographer captures stunning close-up footage of total solar eclipse
A videographer in Stiritz, Missouri, used their Canon 400mm lens to capture stunning close-up footage of the total solar eclipse that occurred on April 8.
They told Newsflare: "After plotting out a potential location on Google Earth, driving to the location with my family and hoping the spot would work and the weather would clear up, I am amazed at how well it came together. Family and friends joined us from as far as 30 hours of driving time away and the weather was perfect.
"We enjoyed an awesome eclipse alongside family and friends as well as new friends we met not the spot. This video seems to capture some of the glory and excitement of the spectacle, though there is nothing like looking up at this hole in the sky that has light pouring out from its edges. A truly memorable event!"
