The Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) joined hands with the Chinese Embassy in Namibia as they hosted a promotion conference to bolster economic ties and trade relations between the two countries.

Held in Windhoek on Tuesday, the event focused on two major platforms: the China International Import Expo (CIIE) and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum.

The promotion conference, attended by over 100 local participants from businesses and entrepreneurs, aimed to foster deeper economic cooperation and trade collaboration between the two nations. Moreover, it served as a platform to extend invitations to local enterprises, experts, and scholars to engage in the forthcoming 7th CIIE and Hongqiao forum, both slated for November this year.
