A turf war between two rival balloon sellers had an explosive end when people tried to intervene and the balloons exploded in a fireball.

The two traders started arguing over who could stand in the best spot in the picturesque square of Beiling Park in Shenyang in Liaoning. China.

The row quickly turned violent, with the two men desperately trying to hang onto their balloons at the same time, inflicting blows on their rival.

Other people witnessed the incident and rushed in to try and separate them, at which point something appeared to have ignited the balloons of one of the men, then exploded a huge fireball that engulfed everybody.

Moments later everybody fled and apart from singed eyebrows and some hair loss, nobody was severely hurt, and nobody needed hospital treatment.
