Students hold a memorial on the 14th anniversary of democracy protesters being killed during an establishment crackdown in Bangkok, Thailand.

At least 90 people died and more than 2,000 were wounded in clashes between security forces and the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) supporters on April 10, 2010.

Activists from the city's Thammasat University held a ceremony remembering those who died, with the country still struggling with democratic progress.

Among the concerns of protesters is the notorious Lese Majeste laws, which can see residents jailed for the smallest perceived slight against the monarchy, which is the richest in the world holding a fortune of between 30 and 70 billion USD.
