Storyline:
Mozambique is observing a three-day of national mourning for the deaths of around 100 people who were killed Sunday in a shipwreck near the Island of Mozambique, in the northern province of Nampula.
The Mozambican government on Tuesday decreed the mourning from April 10 to 12 throughout the national territory and in the diplomatic and consular missions of the country.
The fishing vessel was enroute to an island off Nampula Province, with passengers seeking refuge from a cholera outbreak on the mainland. Rescue operations are underway as several people are still missing.
Family members are still looking for their loved ones but hope of finding survivors is diminishing.
The government is still trying to understand how this devastating event happened.
The UN International Children's Emergency Fund is helping where it can and is concerned about those killed and those orphaned by the tragedy.
As the nation grapples with the aftermath of the tragedy, the government has established an inquiry commission to investigate the causes of the accident and make recommendations.

This is very important because it does not have a license to engage in this activity, but it did it. The vessel was supposed to carry 23 people, at least from those people we have already counted 127. This is so tragic. It's unacceptable.";

And it is very heartbreaking to see we have groups of siblings, a girl just five days old who died together with a five-year-old sister and an eight-year-old brother.
