STORYLINE:

Based in northeast China's Shenyang, Shengu Group is an equipment manufacturer of large centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, pumps, and industrial steam turbines.

In the rotor workshop of Shengu, a new axial compressor rotor is being finely machined.

"The equipment behind me is our most critical 10-meter horizontal lathe (heavy lathe). Currently, it's dedicated to machining a new axial flow compressor rotor of 110,000 air separation unit. This rotor showcases the most advanced 6+1 structure in the world. As you can see, it is a structure of 6-stage axial blades and 1-stage axial centrifugal impeller. This structure is leading in the industry in terms of its design and manufacturing difficulty."

Shengu Group provides major core equipment and completes solutions for a wide range of industries, including petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, natural gas, metallurgy and other fields.

In recent years, Shengu Group has achieved a breakthrough in the localization of core equipment in the fields of million-ton ethylene compressor, 10-million-ton oil refining compressor and large-scale long-distance pipeline electric driven compressor.
