This is the moment a brand-new car drives out of the showroom and directly into a beauty parlour as the driver lost control.

The owner of the vehicle said they had earned a driving license 15 years ago and she had not used it until buying a new vehicle.

As she pulled out of the showroom and disappeared off down the road, she suddenly saw an electric vehicle coming towards her and swerved to avoid it, leaving her smashing through the beauty parlour's front window at Zhuzhou in Hunan, in southern China, on April 6.

People who moments earlier had been relaxing as they received their beauty treatments were left poised on the edge of their seats not sure whether to run for it as glass and debris showered over the property.

The owner of the store said:' I guess it was better to hit my wall and to have crashed head-on into it with the battery car.'
