04/08/2024 12:15 am (GMT-0700) | HOLLYWOOD HILLS, LOS ANGELES – LAPD Hollywood Division patrol units responded to a residential burglary "hot prowl" with suspects currently at the home in the 1600 block of Marmont Avenue at the time of the call.

The resident on the phone with 911 reported that three armed males wearing face masks entered the house through a sliding door.

The resident was hiding on a second story balcony with a second party while on the phone with 911.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a shattered glass sliding door and entered the residence.

All three suspects had fled prior to the arrival of LAPD officers.

Updated Information: Reality star Joey Zauzig was found to be the victim of an armed home invasion early Monday morning in the Hollywood Hills. Zauzig is most known for his appearance on the reality show "The Real Friends of WeHo". He stated on his Instagram story Monday, "I woke up to it and triggered the alarm as they shattered one of the glass doors." He continues, "We have both been shook and just feel completely violated. Also sick to our stomachs. Now I'm angry. These people are disgusting and sick."
