DTLA Pursuit Crash and Armed Suspect Search in Los Angeles, CA, USA
11/14/2023 01:01 am (GMT-0800) | LOS ANGELES – LAPD Newton Division units were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle when the suspect collided into another vehicle at the intersection of of 8th Street and Grand Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles.
The suspect fled into a nearby parking structure armed with a rifle per officers at the scene.
A female, possibly the driver of the vehicle the suspect collided into, was transported to the hospital by LAFD with unknown injuries.
A male was also detained at the scene, however, his connection to the pursuit is unknown.
LAPD had set up a perimeter in the immediate vicinity while they searched for the outstanding armed suspect.
The LAPD later reported the suspect got away.
