The nature lover was standing in a muddy marsh patiently waiting to capture images of an Anna's hummingbirds in Zhejiang, China, on April 4.
Footage shows a male bir -, scientific name calypte anna - displaying its vibrant and colourful 'face-changing' behaviour from a distance.
He also captured the kaleidoscope of colours, including shiny red, black, and purple transformations on the faces of the birds from different angles of light.
Anna's hummingbirds' feather microstructure reflects light at different angles, revealing beautiful colour shows.
