Aerial view of the latest huge rockfall on the Jurassic Coast at Hive Beach at Burton Bradstock in Dorset during a hot sunny afternoon. The rockfall which happened on the 9th April 2024 is the latest in a string of cliff collapses along the sandstone cliffs between West Bay and Burton Bradstock during the winter and spring after repeated storms and heavy rain battered the coast. Warnings by the Coastguard and Dorset Council to stay clear of the dangerous cliffs are being ignored with fossil hunters and walker risking their lives to search the debris beneath the unstable and crumbling cliffs.
