When Lilyanna Grotewold stepped outside on April 6th, little did she expect to find her beloved horse, Zion, in such a predicament. Zion, the playful 6-year-old, had managed to stick his head into the grain bin in the barn, only to end up with the lid firmly stuck around his head.

In a classic case of horse curiosity, Zion had gone searching for a snack in the barn. Finding no one around, he opted for a bin with a broken cover, rather than knocking it off like a more sensible equine.

Lilyanna, armed with her cell phone, captured the comical sight as Zion galloped through the pasture with the bin lid still firmly in place.

I come outside to find that my horse had stuck his head in the grain bin and i found him with the lid stuck on his head.

the horse went looking for the grain bin in the barn. we were not in the area, so he chose a bin that had a broken cover vs knocking the cover off the bin.

6. it happened because we left him out in the yard to graze. He made his own way to the grain bin.
