Elderly cyclist with grandson avoids colliding with oncoming car
This is the nerve-wracking moment an elderly cyclist with her grandson narrowly avoided colliding with an oncoming car.
The woman escaped a potentially horrific road incident as she recklessly crossed the street manoeuvring an electric tricycle in Binzhou, Shandong, China, on April 1.
Dashcam footage shows the rider with her grandson on the back of the vehicle crossing the road intersection despite the traffic light being red.
The pensioner panicked and swerved to avoid the oncoming car.
Fortunately, the grey sedan stopped immediately and waited for the elderly cyclist to pass through.
The incident only resulted in the loss of her grandson's water bottle.
