SOUNDBITE (Chinese): LIN BINGQIANG, Founder of BEHRENS
"In this design, we integrate the arrowhead element from the crossbow of the Qin Dynasty (221-207 B.C.), exuding a distinct Chinese aesthetic. This component bears resemblance to the plum blossom piles iconic in Chinese martial arts. In addition, its design draws inspiration from Qin Dynasty coins. Our goal is to share the enduring essence of Chinese culture with the world through our innovative watchmaking approach."

Lin emphasized that the watches feature in-house developed movements and components, achieving top-notch quality and precision in watchmaking.

The Chinese independent watch brand ATOWAK introduced over 30 watches across six series at the exhibition.

Its designs draw inspiration from a wide range of sources that combine vintage aesthetics and futuristic themes like mechanical life and space travel.

The Time to Watches exhibition debuted in 2022, quickly evolving into an important platform for independent watchmakers worldwide.
