A massive Whale was released after it was caught by fishermen in southern India's Andhra Pradesh.

This incident took place in Atchutapuram coast in the Anakapalli district on April 13.

Visuals showed the massive fish on the beach with waves of water washing up against its body. The power of the tide moved the fish about for a bit on the beach as it was tossed by the waves but the water wasn't strong enough to carry it away. Fishermen were seen trying their best to remove the net in which it had been caught and pushing it into the water but their efforts, seemingly did not bear fruit.

Speaking to Newslions, P.Jyotirmaya ( Forest Range Officer) Anakapalli range, said, "the forest officials were immediately informed by the fishermen about the massive fish which was captured and they rushed to the spot in no time. Shiva ( Forest Beat officer) who reached the spot, checked the fish and found it to be alive. With help from the fishermen, the officials were eventually able to release the fish back into the sea".
