A quick-thinking father dived to catch his baby falling off a sofa in southern China.

The heroic CCTV footage was filmed in Guangzhou City in Guangdong Province on April 11.

A child, engrossed in play, was on the verge of tumbling backwards onto the floor when disaster was averted by an alert father. Sensing the impending peril, the dad turned just in time to see his baby beginning to lose balance. In an incredible display of reflex and agility, he dove towards the baby, managing to cushion the child’s head with his right hand just in time.

The baby, understandably shaken by the near-fall, burst into tears but, fortunately, escaped injury.

据宝宝妈妈介绍，爸爸当时在洗衣服，宝宝平时会自己下沙发的，这次不小心才摔下来，爸爸好像心有灵犀一样提前感应到危险。
