The happiest carnival on the planet as Thai people celebrate Thai New Year also known as Songkran festival.
Amazing scenes of happiness all over Thailand this week end as the celebrate the Thai New Year or Water Splashing Festival, also known as Songkran. Its wonderful for everyone, anybody can enjoy and join in the fun. This was the scene at Khlong Sam Pathumthani on April 14th.
I was lucky that nobody splashed my camera, many people have problems with damaged phones after the event, due to water damage. But nothing can stop the fun of this wonderful festival which is deeply rooted in tradition.
