Footage shows residents walking through the trail of destruction left by a tornado in Louisiana.

The aftermath of the severe tornado storm caused mass fatalities as visible power lines, trees, buildings, and road damages were evident from wind gusts of 110 miles per hour in Slidell, Louisiana, on April 10.

Footage shows a police officer updating citizens on the situation outside and urging everyone to stay at home amidst the EF-1 tornado.

Emergency responders who rushed to the affected areas reported significant damage to both residential and commercial properties.

Weather forecasters are currently investigating whether one or two tornadoes were responsible for the destruction witnessed in and around Slidell.
