Smuggled Immigrant Escapes Trunk, Attempts Fleeing Police During Traffic Stop in Kinney County, TX, USA

A routine traffic stop in Kinney County took a dramatic turn as a DPS Trooper discovered individuals attempting to conceal themselves in a vehicle's rear. Upon further investigation, chaos ensued as two illegal immigrants attempted to flee into the brush, while two others were found concealed in the trunk of the vehicle.
The driver, identified as Joshua Jevon Griffin from Beaumont, was swiftly arrested and charged with smuggling of persons. The discovery shed light on a smuggling operation attempting to transport individuals into the country unlawfully.
With the assistance of the US Border Patrol, authorities were able to apprehend the two individuals who attempted to flee. All four illegal immigrants, originating from Mexico, were subsequently referred to the US Border Patrol for further processing.
