Bell Fiery Fatal Crash Includes Shooting Investigation in Los Angeles, CA, USA

Bell PD and LACoFD responded to the intersection of Florence and Vinevale Avenue for reports of a solo-vehicle crash.
Officers in the area heard the collision and responded to the location where a vehicle was found engulfed in flames. The officers removed the victim from the vehicle and began lifesaving efforts. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by the LACoFD.
The fire was extinguished in just a few minutes. Upon further investigation of the fatal crash, officers and detectives from the Bell PD observed bullet holes in the victim's vehicle and also noticed that the victim appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound to his torso, according the the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department assisting in the investigation.
It is unclear at this time where exactly the victim was fired upon.
The investigation is ongoing.
