On the evening of April 7th, authorities swiftly responded to a heartwarming call for help in the 2500 block of N Dale Mabry Hwy. The distress call reported a group of ducklings trapped in a sewer, prompting an urgent rescue mission.

Officers sprang into action, determined to reunite the stranded ducklings with their worried mother. Despite the challenging circumstances, the dedicated team managed to rescue five out of the six ducklings, bringing joy and relief to the scene.

However, the mission was not quite complete. Remarkably, the sixth duckling remained separated from its family, prompting officers to revisit the location before concluding their shift. Undeterred by the late hour, they persisted in their efforts and, to the delight of onlookers, successfully retrieved the final duckling.
