Russian firemen saved bears from a blaze at the Crimea Zoo.

The fire engulfed one of the buildings spanning 625 metres, and it quickly spread due to hay in the enclosures in Yevpatoriya City on April 16.

Footage shows the emergency responders battling the inferno at the burning facility. Two bears and other animals were rescued, including a female staff who was given medical help.

A team of 20 individuals and six firefighting vehicles battled the blaze. Currently, investigators from the agency are on-site.
