Several tornadoes wreaked havoc in Iowa on Tuesday, with one particularly close to Rockwell City. The twister was spotted on the north side of the city, heading towards Manson, and was clearly visible from downtown Rockwell City. According to the National Weather Service, the funnel lifted and touched down multiple times across Calhoun and Pocahontas counties before dissipating.

While the tornado's rating is still pending, authorities have reported minimal damage despite its proximity to Rockwell City, a town with a population of over 2,000. The sheriff's office has confirmed that the only damage reported so far is a few fallen power lines. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and heed any further weather warnings.
