STORYLINE:
Chinese lion dance and other cultural programs organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Zagreb were performed on Thursday at the Titus Brezovacki High School in Zagreb, to celebrate the International Chinese Language Day.
On the occasion, students had the opportunity to attend various workshops related to the Chinese language and culture organized by the Chinese Embassy in Croatia and the Confucius Institute. The students also presented songs and dance performances.
The Titus Brezovacki High School has opened Chinese classes for students.

"We had a few dance performances, singing performances of our students, and some Chinese dances that were traditional dances. I think it was a cultural mix of Croatia and China. It was amazing."

"We celebrated Chinese culture. We watched some people dancing. We learned about their foods. It was very nice. We had fun, and I would like to do it again next year."
The UN Chinese Language Day is observed on April 20 every year since 2010.
