China (Sichuan)-New Zealand Economic, Trade, and Cultural Promotion Conference was held in Auckland on Thursday. About 200 people from all walks of life in China and New Zealand participated in the event.
Huang Qiang, governor of Sichuan Province, hailed the cooperation between Sichuan and New Zealand, expressing hope that they can expand two-way investment and make the industry pie bigger to share the new opportunities in opening-up and cooperation.
Sichuan and New Zealand have signed eight cooperation agreements focusing on industrial investment, import and export trade, technological innovation, educational talents and other fields.
