This bird might need to visit Specsavers.... after CCTV captured it smashing through a glass window into an optician and showering the unfortunate owner in glass as he slept on a sofa.

Footage from the property in Binzhou in Shandong, China, shows the man lying on the sofa fast asleep and enjoying a break between customers.

But a large black bird flew through the window, shattering a large pane of glass that then showered down on the man on April 12.

The bird then drops onto the floor, before running on the bottom and hiding itself in the corner of the room.

The man who appears to have been cut on the head then stands up and realises what has happened, goes to move the bird, but then decides against it, and returns to survey the damage caused by the smashed glass, all the time holding his injured head.
