Amazed by the tremendous opportunities at China's Canton Fair, Brazilian buyer Ellen has decided to launch her own clothing business in Guangzhou, with a focus on evening dresses.

"Guangzhou is a very dynamic city where the experience is different every time you visit.
My name is Ellen and I am half Brazilian. I have studied and worked in Canada, the UK, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.
After (having) been to so many places, I have decided to start my own business trading here in Guangzhou in the field of clothing, specifically on evening dresses, because they have a better cost and a variety of dresses that are of higher quality.
My first time in Guangzhou was when I came for the Canton Fair last year. I was amazed at the city and saw great business opportunities here.
I came here a few days earlier for this year's Canton Fair in order to meet current and new suppliers as well as clients.
The city life here is interesting. Many good restaurants and the people are warm and welcoming.
The food here is amazing as well. There is a lot of delicious cuisine. I recently learned a Cantonese saying of delicious: "Ho sei", which sounds like the name in Spanish Jose.
(This time) I felt a big improvement with very clear guidelines at the airport. There is even an information desk to help you with QR code payment.
It's very convenient to get to the hotel by metro. You can just scan the QR code and pass through it, in just one go.
Including the hotels near the venue, which I booked online. The check-in was very convenient.
The pace of life is also great. It is easy to be implemented (integrated) as a part of the community where everyone can take their time to enjoy life.
I believe everyone who comes here will have a different perspective in life."
