In recent developments, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified their operations in the Gaza Strip, focusing on targeting underground tunnel routes and rocket production facilities. Footage from the targeted operation of the 162nd Division in the central Gaza Strip has been released, illustrating the military's efforts to dismantle infrastructure in the region.

Over the past week, soldiers of the 401st Brigade combat team, in conjunction with forces of the Yahalom Unit, have carried out strategic raids, clearing and destroying over 100 infrastructure sites. These operations have resulted in the elimination of more than 40 individuals through close quarters combat and airstrikes.

Significant targets destroyed during these operations included facilities utilized for the production of rockets and weapons by Hamas, a prominent organization in the area. Additionally, an underground combat control center situated under Wadi Gaza was raided, revealing a cache of weapons.

The IDF's operations also focused on neutralizing tunnel shafts, including offensive ones, and locating launchers and launching pits used by groups in the Gaza Strip. The 215th Fire Control Brigade provided essential support during the operation, targeting numerous individuals, while artillery units targeted infrastructure in the central Gaza Strip.

Simultaneously, the Nahal Brigade combat team has been engaged in operational activities in the Karni Corridor, a crucial route separating the northern and southern Gaza Strip. Targeted raids in this area have resulted in the precise elimination of individuals, the discovery of weapons and tunnel shafts, and the destruction of an underground route.

In total, the IDF's operations in the Karni Corridor have resulted in the elimination of over 1,000 Hamas members and the destruction of more than 20 kilometers of underground tunnel routes. These efforts underscore Israel's commitment to security amid ongoing challenges in the region.
