An elephant used its trunk to reach eucalyptus leaves from a tree at the zoo.

Footage shows the African elephant named Ali with its trunk raised vertically as it tried to pick a leaf to snack on at the Shoushan Zoo in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, on March 28.

The defiant jumbo tried again after every failed attempt until it was able to pick one and put it in its mouth.

African elephants are one of two species of elephants, along with Asian elephants. They are larger and have bigger ears.
