Around 50 thousand runners took part in this year's London Marathon, some who decided to give themselves an extra challenge by dressing up in costume for charity, or World Record attempts (April 21).

At the 21-mile mark, participants were spotted in the crowd, running the marathon 'their way', doing karaoke, TV presenter and comedian Joel Dommett was seen in a piranha outfit, one man ran in business attire, a team competed as part of a caterpillar and camel, in various uniforms, as Blackpool Tower, a telephone box - and even carrying fridges and a washing machine, as they were cheered-on by a supportive crowd.
