Five little boar piglets saved from drowning in well in south India

Local men gathered together to rescue five wild boar piglets that fell down a well in south India on April 22nd in this heartwarming video.

The rescue took place in Chakkaraisettipatti village near Omalur, Salem district, Tamil Nadu.

The lost piglets were discovered in the early morning by a man named Arvind who was alerted by barking dogs. Arvind contacted the local Forest Department and then gathered together with other locals to rig a basket to retrieve the piglets.

The piglets were retrieved safely and handed over to the Forest Department and were later released back into the Pannikaradu reserve in the nearby Servarayan south forest.
